Backseat Ghost of Tsushima

I was briefly a Ghost of Tsushima widow when the husbandface played the game. He was so excited about this game that he took a couple days off for the release. I haven’t seen him like this in a while, so it was a treat for me.

So what was it like watching the husbandface play a video game that only took him almost two weeks to fully complete? It was fun! I don’t always mind watching him play games. I encourage him by either calling him a monster or a badass. Whichever fits the moment. (I always called him a monster in regard to Kerbal Space Program. Poor Jeb!) I even give him suggestions like “jump off that cliff to see what happens” or “throw a garbage can at him!” Like the great spot he is, the husbandface does as I ask.

Ghost of Tsushima is a gorgeous game with great effects from particles, to cherry blossoms and maple leaves, and the hot springs. Oh, yes, the hot springs. I did not mind watching that. What I caught of the story was well written and thought out. (I was also playing ACNH, so I didn’t catch everything.) There’s an Uncharted aspect to the game that I really like, so I will play the game later when most of the story fades from memory. I’m excited to pet foxes!

Over 8.8 million foxes have been petted in this game.

Huh. I wonder why the husbandface didn’t take any pictures while at the hot spring! >.>

In short, this was a fun game to watch someone else play. I look forward to my time behind the controller.

Have you played or watched someone play this game?
