I’ve kept a tight lid on my writing and publishing goals, but I suppose it’s time to start giving some updates.
I’ve written the beginnings of a humorous (maybe?) urban fantasy series Smoke & Magic!
I have a lot of things on my list checked off, but I still have a lot left to do. And I probably don’t even know the half of it. I might discuss all that later, or I might not—especially if it’s boring.
What is this series about? Well, it’s about a woman who discovers she’s a djinni in the worst way possible: her sleazy ex-fiancé traps her in a bottle and sells her to pay off his gambling debts. What a jerk! It gets even worse… her magic is powered by bad luck. What could possibly go wrong? You’ll have to read to find out.
As of now, I’ve written the prequel to my Smoke & Magic series. It’s with an editor right now, and I’m expecting the cover for it any minute. Things will probably start moving rather quickly once I have those two things in my greedy hands.
